West Elm and Etsy!

This past Saturday was the Etsy Pop-Up shop event at the West Elm store in downtown Palo Alto. Having never done anything like this before, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect (and I was super nervous), but I had a really great time! The other sellers were incredibly nice (and talented) and I got to meet and talk to a lot of great people. Plus, it was really exciting to see all of my goods displayed together in one place. Emilia even got in on the fun, taking on decorating my table with pins...

Big News!

...Along with 7 other Bay Area designers, I was asked to be a part of the Etsy pop up shop at the West Elm in Palo Alto! I'm incredibly excited...and incredibly honored to be a part of such a great event!

It's happening on Saturday, August 10th from 1pm - 6 pm. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by the Palo Alto West Elm store and say hi!

Shop Update!

It's taken awhile, but I've finally updated the shop with new goods!

On June 13th, this gorgeous and lovely wee lady turned five!!!

Herman and I took the day off and we let her stay home from preschool so that an entire day of celebrating could be had.

Her favorite color is "all the colors of the rainbow" so we made this geometric rainbow shapes for decorations...

...and had a breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes for her (per her request) and strawberry pancakes for us...

...then it was present opening time...

...and a full day of play before the family came over for dinner, chocolate cake (naturally), and more presents.

We also decided that 5 is one of the bigger birthday milestone and definitely warranted a big party with all her school and non-school friends...

So this past Sunday we set up in the park with food and cupcakes and a few giant balloons. There's a great water feature at this park, which all the kids loved. It was pretty much the perfect, laid back party. Because really, all she wanted to do was play with her friends.

Since we kept the party itself pretty simple, I put a lot of my energy into the goodie bags. And I'm so happy with the end result...
